The HID® Signo™ 40K PIV Reader is an excellent choice for installations requiring keypad multi-factor authentication and a reader to be mounted on a wall switch. Based on the Signo platform, it reads any PIV-based card with a contactless interface and includes a Card Authentication Key (CAK) certificate when used with the HID Global pivCLASS Authentication Module (PAM) or pivCLASS Onboard Authentication.
