The rugged HID Global Industrial RFID Receipt Tag transponder housing protects embedded electronics, delivering reliable performance in harsh waste management and logistics environments. Each tag is fully waterproof and consistently readable even when temperatures drop to -13° F (-20° C) or rise to 185° F (85° C). Protrusions around the shaft allow the RFID tag to be easily inserted and securely locked in place, preventing the tag from being lost or removed in the field.

For metallic containers, the HID IN Tag™ and InLine™ Tag families include waste management RFID tags that provide consistent, reliable performance when mounted on metal. In addition, these lines include high frequency and UHF chip options with read-write memory available up to 2048 bits.

For standard plastic household rubbish bins (DIN 30745), the HID Bin Tag LF (Unique, FDX-B or HDX) is available in HF and UHF versions.
