HID iCLASS SE RK40

iCLASS SE® RK40 is part of HID Global's iCLASS SE platform for adaptable, interoperable access control. Designed for multi-factor authentication door applications requiring standard wall key mounting, the iCLASS SE® RK40 supports a wide range of credential technologies and various form factors including cards, key fobs and mobile devices. It can be configured to support HID Mobile Access®.

Main Features

• Adaptable – Interoperable with a growing number of technologies (iCLASS Seos® , iCLASS SE, iCLASS®, MIFARE® Classic, MIFARE DESFire®EV1) and form factors including mobile devices.
• Strongly Secure– The Secure Identity Object® (SIO®) data model of the iCLASS SE platform provides an extra layer of encryption for additional protection of identity data
• Standardised Communication (OSDP) – It uses the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure communication between the reader and controller.

With a focus on sustainability, iCLASS SE platform readers include intelligent power management that reduces power consumption by up to 59%. Selected models also feature Environmental Product Declaration certification and Green Apartment certification, which contributes to LEED building credits.
