PRODUCT ALARM LABELS
WHAT IS EAS?
The Emergency Alert System, known as EAS, is designed to transmit emergency warnings and messages to the public via satellites. This technology was first produced by the USA.
IN WHAT AREAS IS IT USED?
The EAS system is used today as a precaution against the theft of clothes, shoes, accessories and many other items on sale in stores.
WHAT IS A PRODUCT ALARM LABEL?
Alarm labels are divided into two as Hard Alarm Labels (Hard Tag), Paper Alarm Labels (Label). Radio Frequency 8.2 MHz (RF) and Acousto Magnetic 58KHz (AM) are named as the system.
Alarm labels are used to establish rules for when an alarm should be triggered and what behaviour should take place. Product alarm labels are used in almost every area of the retail sector. In short, thanks to product alarm labels, theft incidents that may occur in the retail sector are prevented.
HOW DOES THE ALARM TAG WORK?
Product protection paper alarm labels are labels used for sticking on products. These labels have a fake barcode on them. If this barcode is not deactivated, the product protection antenna will alarm. The store security system, which detects that the signal structure has changed, gives an audible and light alarm. Product protection antennas are always active and maintain signal exchange.
HOW DO THEY REMOVE THE ALARM STICKERS?
After the sale of the product, the paper alarm tag on the product must be deactivated by the store attendant with an electronic deactivator. If the alarm tag is not deactivated, it triggers the alarm when it enters the detection area of the product protection antennas at the exit of the store, causing an audible and light alarm. In this way, the product protection system prevents the product from leaving the store without being deactivated. The barcode alarm label is in various sizes according to the size of the product box.
