Powered by Alien®'s volume-driven Higgs™4 UHF RFID IC and innovative Squiglette antenna design, the ALN9730 delivers industry-leading EPC Gen 2 read and write performance in a narrower width than its big brother Squiggle®. ALN-9730 shims are World Tag compliant, ensuring consistent operation across a variety of frequencies in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. With the Higgs-4 core, Squiglette delivers next generation performance and a rich feature set, yet is fully optimised for the highest volume enterprise, retail and apparel applications. The optimised memory footprint features 32-bit TID, 64-bit Unique TID for authentication and next-generation serialisation applications, 128-bit EPC memory bank, 128-bit user memory for distributed data applications, and support for password-protected read and write support to prevent unauthorised viewing and modification of tag data. Typical applications for the Squiglette include, but are not limited to, garment hang tags, corrugated boxes, pallet banner labels, shipping labels, asset management, file folder labels and applications on plastic. The Alien 9730 UHF RFID Tag is used in textile, retail, apparel, inventory tracking, warehousing, logistics, tracking challenging materials and objects.
